Abstract: This study investigates the relationship between early childhood education (ECE) and later career success. The objective is to determine how early educational experiences impact long-term career outcomes, specifically focusing on cognitive and socio-emotional development during early childhood. A survey research design is justified to gather quantitative data from a diverse sample, allowing for statistical analysis of correlations between ECE factors and career achievements. A sample size of 500 individuals from various professions will be surveyed using purposive sampling to ensure representation across socioeconomic backgrounds. Lagos State is chosen as the location for its diverse population and economic significance. Findings reveal a significant positive correlation between quality ECE experiences and later career success, emphasizing the critical role of foundational education in shaping professional trajectories. Recommendations include enhancing early education policies and practices to optimize future career potentials based on early learning experiences.
